Maureen D, Lockwood, 74, passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2014.
Maureen was born in Jersey City, was a resident of Morristown before moving to Denville in 1962. Maureen received her Registered Nursing degree from the All Souls Hospital School of Nursing in Morristown, NJ. Maureen did post graduate studies in Maternity at the Margaret Hauge Hospital School of Nursing in Jersey City, NJ. Maureen, for 30 years was a Maternity Nurse and for 7 years was a nurse in the Pulmonary Rehab Department in St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. Maureen was a faithful Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister serving many masses together with her husband Ron at St. Mary's Church in Denville, NJ.
Maureen is survived by her husband, Ron; her children, Ronald Lockwood, his wife Jane, Laurie Vittorio, her husband Steve, William Lockwood, his wife Tara, Colleen Cullim, her husband John, and Kevin Lockwood, his wife Laura; her beloved grandchildren, Ashley, Lindsay and Emily Lockwood, Matthew, Christina and Andrew Vittorio, Ciara and Gavin Lockwood, Madyson, Molly and Devan Cullim, Charlotte Lockwood; her brother Robert Connelly; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Her funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory on website), on Tuesday May 6th at 9AM for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary's Church, Denville, NJ, committal and interment services at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday May 5th from 4-8pm. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer's Association 400 Morris Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 or The Morris Minute Men EMS, 97 Mill Rd., Morris Plains, NJ 07970 would be appreciated.
