Jackie was a wonderful person who always had a smile on her face. There are days when I go by her desk...expecting to see her there. There are no words to express the loss we all feel with Jackie gone but I know in my heart she is smiling upon all of us.

AS I LIGHT THIS CANDLE FOR JACKIE, IT STRIKES ME HOW APPROPRIATE IT IS TO GIVE HER BACK SOME OF THE LIGHT SHE HAS GIVEN TO SO MANY. JACKIE TEACHES US ALL HOW TO LIVE A LIFE OF GRACE AND DIGNITY IN THE WORST OF TIMES AND JOY AND ROBUST ZEAL FOR LIFE IN THE BEST OF TIMES. I must share what I will remember about my friend Jackie, her amazing laughter. Sometimes we would laugh together so hard that tears would stream down our faces. Jackie always listened and gave sound advice when something was wrong. She was a good friend to me and to those who needed her. She selflessly gave of her time and loved to give. Jackie was most proud of her family and loved to talk about her nieces and nephews. Her cubical was covered with pictures of those she loved. Her stories were mostly about what she was doing and where she was going for one of her nieces or nephews. They were her pride and joy. My fondest memories will always be of Jackie laughing when I’d tell her the latest kookiest things my sister with Alzheimer’s did or said. She would laugh so hard that her face would turn as red as an apple. Thank you Jackie for the joy your friendship brought into my life. You are with our Lord and Savior in heaven now because of your faith in Him. The angles rejoiced when you entered their kingdom forever. I will miss you and have a place in my heart for you until I see you again. Love always, Jo-Ann

I have so many fond memories of working with Jackie at the Labs in Whippany. She took such good care of me during my pregnancy. She was a loving, caring, and giving person. May she rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.

Miss Jackie... your bright smile and infectious laugh will live on forever in my heart. You were the first person I befriended at Novartis, and we went on to share many lunches and many gossip sessions about any and everything we could think of. I enjoyed working with Jackie at Novartis. I'll especially remember her silly side: love of TV/Movie gossip magazines, devotion to dancing with the stars and how she shared my excitement when we found out I was having twins. I did not know anyone when I first came to Novartis, but Jackie was always there with her warm smile and a sincere hello. Her warmth and caring will be missed, but I am glad she will not suffer any longer. She was an angel on earth and her light is now glowing in heaven. God saw you getting tiredand a cure was not to be.So He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away.
