Obituary of Camille Mary Frumolt

Please share a memory of Camille to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Camille Mary Frumolt, of Hazleton, PA, formerly of Parsippany, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, August 27, 2018. She was 74 years old.

Born and raised in Garfield to the late Joseph and Anna Zangara, that is where she met her best friend and soulmate, Victor Frumolt III. They married in 1968 and started their beautiful family. Before settling down in Parsippany for 39 years, they spent a short time living in Livingston. Shortly before being diagnosed with cancer, they relocated to Pennsylvania 1 ½ years ago.

Camille made a successful career for herself working as an Administrative Assistant for Warner-Lambert Pharmaceutical for 12 years before working for Pfizer Inc., officially retiring in 2000. As a woman that always had the go-getter personality, she did not stop working after retirement. She volunteered in many places including the animal center, Caring Network, Habitat for Humanity, fundraising for the Salvation Army, and at St. Francis Residential Community in the Christmas shop, second hand shop, and their Fall Festival. Camille gave everything that she could and put her heart and soul into helping her community and those in need. Not only did she contribute by donating her time, she would cook and bake for everyone. She was a one of a kind, fiercely independent, respected and treasured woman with a wicked sense of humor.

During her battle with cancer, Camille never lost hope or her positive attitude. She continued to live life to the fullest and made sure to impact the lives of many others that struggled with cancer as well. Camille knew how to connect with people and make them feel welcomed and comfortable. She did not have any acquaintances, only friends.

When she wasn’t busy volunteering to change peoples’ lives for the better, she was playing Majhong with her friends, bowling, or cooking and baking for family. She was an incredible chef and many people will miss her smile, zest for life, and holiday cookies. Above anything else, she adored spending time with her family. We thank Camille for making this world a better place. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

Her legacy of unconditional love and hard work will live on in the hearts of her beloved husband of 50 years, Victor Frumolt III; her adored children, Brian Frumolt and his wife Cari, Mark Frumolt and his family, Brenda & Kellen Ortiz, and Amy Perez and her husband Victor III; her cherished grandchildren, Zachary Frumolt and Violet Perez; her caring sister, Joyce Daniw and her husband Walter; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Public Visitation will take place on Thurs., Aug. 30th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Funeral Service will take place on Fri., Aug. 31st at 10 am at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1 Outwater Lane, Garfield, NJ.
