Dear friends and family,
We will miss Noreen. She was bigger than life. Her wonderful smile says it all. Noreen was a woman of great generosity. This reflected in everything she did from compliments, to meals, to hospitality, to love, and enthusiasm for all. When our daughter, Nancy, had a severe brain injury in 2001, she was sent to Kessler Rehab in Orange, NJ. Noreen visited often, showering the nurses with many coffeecakes. She wanted to be sure Nancy was not forgotten and treated with utmost care and favor. She and Calvin housed me overnight, so I would not have to travel so often from Long Island. I am sure they sent many prayers to our heavenly Father during that time. Our daughter is our miracle girl, COMPLETELY HEALED. Thank you Noreen for your caring ways and for all your prayers. We will miss you!

Cal,
I was so saddened to see that your love Noreen had passed on. I haven't seen you in some years but remember fondly our interactions as insurance guys. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss.
At our age these things start to happen with unwanted frequency, I lost my youngest brother a few months ago and still struggle believing it.

Dear Cal and family:
I remember first meeting you and Noreen at church with my father at the 8 a.m. mass where you were attending back in October of 1991. The last time that I saw the both of you was on March 11, 2017 at the St. Patrick's Day dinner dance. Noreen was always the life of the party and she will be missed by both my husband me. I did not know Noreen for a long time....I got to know Noreen when she was caring for my sick father....the compassion, generosity, and love she showed my entire family during that time will never be forgotten....my condolences to her entire family...

Marty and I were with the two of you on your first date, Calvin, at a tennis match at Upsala College. The rest is history. Great memories. Marty and I were thrilled to have Marty Jr. and Lisa in your beautiful wedding! I'm thinking of last Thanksgiving, when Auntie Noreen was holding Margot Carey's hand. She had so much love in her heart. I trust in God that Auntie Noreen will enjoy the next July 4 in Heaven, with our special angel, "Uncle Marty," as they shared the same birthday for all their years on this earth. Although she always made it known to Marty that she was a year younger!

To our sweet Uncle Cal,
How Auntie Noreen adored you! Her effervescent presence lit up a room, especially when talking about you. Amazing Thanksgivings hosted at "149 Birch," cruising in the convertible, boating & buckwheat pancakes in Maine, trips to Costco together where everyone knew her name, delivering her delicious double order of brownies and her famous Irish soda bread with "a bit of butter"...wonderful memories that warm our hearts and encourage us to open our home with wide arms to live on her legacy of love, caring, and generosity.
Hard-working, humorous, honest...we are so honored to have been embraced by her Horsman hugs! May you find comfort in all the lives she touched..Her light shines on. We are filled with gratitude for her love. Auntie Noreen was a blessing of an aunt and friend.
