Obituary of Ignacio Cenicacelaya
Ignacio Cenicacelaya passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in Dover, NJ. He was 82 years young.
Born in Gorozika, Vizcaya, Spain, he has been a Rockaway, NJ resident for 50 years. He has made a very successful 30+ year career as the Owner/Operator and Chef for his restaurant,
Jai-Alai located in Dover. Ignacio was a master Chef and took pride in his cooking. He was very skilled in many trades, including hunting, however cooking was his passion. Above anything else, his family was number one in his life. He was a hard working achiever that taught us love, compassion, and values. He will forever be remembered and cherished in our hearts.
Predeceased by his beloved daughter, Ana Gonzalez, his legacy will continue in his loving children, Roberto (Jane) Gonzalez, Regla Gonzalez, Ignacio D. (Victoria) Cenicacelaya, and Saul A. (Lisa) Cenicacelaya; his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his caring brother, Daniel Zenicazelaya; and many other extended family and friends.
Public Visitation will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 2 – 6 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Funeral Service will begin at 5:30 pm.
