Guy Warner went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Hackensack University Medical Center. He was 61 years young.
Born and raised in Long Island, NY, Guy met his soulmate, Donna at Calvary Baptist Church. Together they moved to Rockaway, NJ in 1992 to raise their beautiful family. A true family man, Guy exhibited unconditional love for his family and friends every day. He was the first one to help out when someone needed it, and his helpfulness and expertise ranged from carpentry to helping with your taxes and everything in between. If he did not know how to do something, he would figure it out; giving up was not in his vocabulary. He was an extremely hard worker, a very generous, responsible, talented yet humble, and productive man. He has left a legacy of selflessness, devotion, ambition, honesty, respect and true love that will live on in our hearts and souls for lifetimes to come.
Guy was a true Cowboys fan. He was also a devout Christian and proud member, Deacon, and Elder at Bible Fellowship Church in Denville. He graduated from the University of Albany with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and made a successful 25 year career with Kaye/Hub International.
Left to keep his legacy alive is his beloved wife of 38 years, Donna (DeHart); his adored children, Jason Warner and his wife Kelly of Rockaway, Lauren Tabaranza and Victor of Mt. Olive, Joshua Warner and his wife Sarah of CT, Hayley Warner and Meagan Warner of Lake Hopatcong; his cherished grandchildren, Ava and Ella Tabaranza and Jackson and Jillian Warner; his caring siblings, Glenn Warner and his wife Mary, Barbara Danler and her husband Ron, Gary Warner and his wife Dorothy, Gregg Warner and his companion Gail Bosch, Betty Lockwood and her husband Keith, and Gil Warner and his wife Pam; a special pup, Cooper aka “Boop Man”; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17th at 11 am at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Burial will follow at Rockaway Presbyterian Cemetery. Public Visitation will take place on Monday, January 16th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Funeral Home. Memorial Donations can be made in his memory to the Hackensack Foundation, Bone Marrow Transplant Wing, by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.
