It is with broken hearts that we report the passing of Thelma B. Schneid 67, of Denville who passed away Sept. 10th after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clares Hospital, Dover, NJ.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday September 15 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 from 11:30AM to 1:30PM with a service beginning at 1PM. Please light a candle in her memory at: www.normandean.com.
Thelma was born in Franklin, NJ and has been a longtime resident of Denville. She was an employee of the St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus for over 33 years. She had an avid love of gardening, stained glass, being outdoors, and restoring antiques.
Whenever you stopped by Thelma's she was always involved in her garden, working on refinishing a piece of antique furniture or relaxing on her deck. Her laughter was contagious; she always lit up a room with her smile. Thelma expressed her gentle, loving heart in many ways; she was a trusted confidante, a wonderful listener and a beautiful lady inside and out.
Thelma is survived by her daughters Theresa Graham of Orange, NJ and Stephanie Dinan of Denville, NJ as well as her grandchildren Krystal Warner of Jupiter, FL, Timothy Nauta of Rockaway, NJ and Madison Dinan of Denville, NJ and her sisters Marjorie Search of Fayetteville, NC Francine Wiebly of Port Richie, FL Karen Cogleton of Barnegate, NJ and her brothers Greg Babcock of Wantage, NJ and was predeceased by Willard Norman of Sussex county. Thelma also leaves behind her dear friends and neighbors who gave so much and meant so much to her.
