Jane Audrey Kappock (VanHouten) passed away peacefully at her home in Rockaway Twp., NJ on December 7, 2013.
She was 85 years old.
Born in Paterson she had lived in Whippany for many years before moving to Rockaway Twp., NJ 16 years ago.
Jane worked for the Morris County Parks Commission for 15 years before retiring in 1993.
She was predeceased by her daughter Cindy Bruno in 2009 and grandson Jason Brownell in 2004.
Jane is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Edward E. Kappock of Rockaway Twp., NJ. She is also survived by her daughter Debbie Godleski and son-in-law, John, of Hackettstown, NJ, son Donald Kappock,as well as her 7 Grandchildren and one Great Grandson.
Memorial visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 on Saturday December 14, 2013, from 2-4PM with a service beginning at 3:30.
