Obituary of Janet T. Kohler

Janet Kohler (Fejes) of Rockaway, NJ, died peacefully with family by her side on March 3, 2016 at Saint Clare's in Denville. She was 45 years old. Janet had been diagnosed with cancer on December 23, 2013 and has kept up the fight since. She touched so many lives, was an inspiration and hero to many, and was an extremely strong individual. She was a mother first and foremost; her kids came first before all ells. Janet loved to cook and bake, she made pies and cookies, but her Christmas cookies were her calling card. She also loved hiking at High Point, going to the Outer Banks, her family trip to Jamaica, and country music, especially Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill and Celine Dion. She is survived by her loving, committed, and supportive husband Mike and her three devoted children, Haley, Riley, and Zachary. Her sister Helen and brother Louis. Her many cousins, nieces and nephews and her supportive sister -in-laws Pat and Barb, her brother in law Mark, and her warm hearted mother and father in law Joanne and Gerry and her two loved dogs Khaya and Weezer also survive her. Many thanks to her compassionate staff and nurses on 3Hope, Dr. Bari and all of his team, and Dr. Bruce Mintz. She was a one of a kind lady and will be missed dearly by many. Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Monday March 7, 2016 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Mass.
