Reflections of Rose By Danny O'Neill Rose is a vibrant and colorful rose, radiating peaceful white, friendly yellow and passionate red, and whose intoxicating bouquet invites passers-by to stop and Look at the plane! Rose is a hardy rose - a sturdy perennial with deep roots that span continents and deeper memories to survive long beyond the bitter winter. Rose is an intricate blossom whose delicate petals form a unique pattern which nature will never duplicate. Rose is willful and courageous and armed with thorns to protect those closest to her and those who cannot protect themselves. She is no cliche; She is the expression of love in it's purest and most recognizable form. She is nature's example of grace and beauty. She is Mother Daughter Sister Wife and Friend. Like a tattoo, she has left a permanent mark on the hearts of those whom she has touched most profoundly. Rose is the timeless image of love, a poet's metaphor, but in our lives Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose.
