Obituary of Jennie M. Ferrone

Jennie M. (DiCarlo) Ferrone passed away peacefully at her home in Rockaway surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in Boonton, she had moved to Rockaway, NJ in 1957. She worked as an admitting clerk for St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville for 14 years before retiring in 1985.
Besides loving her family, she loved to bake and work in her garden, and loved music and dancing.
Jennie was predeceased by her husband Vincent T. Ferrone Sr. in 2005.
Her loving children Vincent & Deborah Ferrone of Rockaway, John Ferrone & Cheryl Wolf of Denville, and Catherine Keating & Joseph Staub of Rockaway, NJ survive her. She is also survived by her grandchildren James Ferrone, Carl J. Keating, Michael, Paul J. and Nicholas Ferrone as well as her 9 great grandchildren and her sister Ida Cacciabeve of Boonton, NJ.
Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Tuesday November 12, 2013 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Cecilia’s Church in Rockaway, NJ for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at St. Cecilia’s Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 4-7PM.
