Dear McCarthy Family,
I am saddened by this news. Mrs. McCarthy was my piano teacher for many years. I began taking lessons from her when I was five years old and continued until I was 18 and left for college. Mrs. McCarthy was such a kind, sweet, talented woman. I still have many of my piano books in which she wrote notes for me. I spent an hour with her on Friday afternoons for most of my childhood. She truly gave me the gift of music. I can only imagine the medley of Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach music that is playing in heaven for her.
Thank you for sharing her with me. I am truly blessed to have been her student for so many years.
My sincere condolences. May you find comfort in many cherished memories.
