Marie J. Liss, passed away on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Dover, NJ.
Marie was born in Newark, NJ and was a longtime resident of Newfoundland, NJ. Marie was a homemaker. She was a member of the Newfoundland Ladies Auxiliary Community Fire Co. #1. Marie was an avid bowler and a member of the Morris County Women’s 600 Club, and a member of the Golden Age Club in Milton, NJ.
Marie was predeceased by her husband, David F. Liss and her brother, Anthony Fancera.
Marie is survived a son, Steven Liss and his wife Christine of Rockaway, NJ, and her daughter Laura Basso of Georgetown, KY, and her granddaughters, Amanda and Danielle Liss, and her sister Roseann Hundertmark and her husband Jay of Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
Marie’s funeral services will be conducted at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Marie on website), on Saturday July 14th at 11am. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday July 13th at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society.
