Faith Battaglino died peacefully at home on May 24, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 69 years old.
Faith and her husband Mike, married 47 years, are longtime residents of Denville.
Born in Jersey City on Jan. 30, 1943 to Arthur and Grace Reichard, Faith was graduated from North Arlington High School in 1960. Faith was an employee of Painten' Place in Denville and Cerbo Lumber in Parsippany before retiring. An avid card player, she was a member of several poker groups in and around Morris County.
She is survived by her husband Mike, son Michael and daughter Stacy, all of Denville; her brother Col. Lawrence Reichard and wife Edda of Joppa, Md.; her sister Donna Kern and husband Jerry of Hopatcong; brothers-in-law Al Battaglino of Jackson and Jack Battaglino of Whippany; sister-in-law Roseann Freda and husband Joe of Toms River (formerly of Livingston); and many other loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Faith’s funeral services will be conducted at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Faith on website), on Wednesday May 30th at 11am. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday May 29th at the funeral home from 2-4 and -7-9pm.
