Clara Irene Campfield passed away in Denville, NJ on April 29, 2012.
She was 93 years old.
Born in Waterloo, NY she graduated from Waterloo High School and attended William Smith College and Ontario Business School in Geneva, NY.
She had a long career in federal service working at Syracuse Army Airbase in Syracuse, NY, Marine Corps Personnel in Washington, D.C., Housing & Home Finance Agency, Geneva, NY, Guffins Air Force Base, Rome, NY, and she retired from Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ where she worked in finance and the accounting department.
She was a member of the Church of the Saviour in Denville, NJ and belonged to the St. Martha's Guild, the Denville Women's Club, the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, chapter #424 and a lifetime member of the Seneca Chapter OES in Waterloo, NY. She also volunteered for many years at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum and at St,. Clare's Hospital.
Clara is survived by her nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday May 12, 2012 at 10:00AM at The Church of the Saviour 155 Morris Avenue Denville, NJ 07834. Funeral arrangements by Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834.
