Barbara J. Hartnett, 81, died on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ.
She was born raised and lived in Jersey City before moving to Lake Hopatcong, NJ in 1973.
Barbara worked as an E. K. G. Technician at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville and later she worked for Lakeland Cardiology in Mt. Lakes, NJ retiring in 1993.
She belonged to Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha RC Church in Sparta, NJ.
Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband Cornelius J. in 2004, and her loving daughters Kathleen Koutouzis and Jane Fallon.
She is survived by her children Barbara Fields and Colleen Hartnett of Lake Hopatcong, Con & Kelly Hartnett of Livingston, Tricia & Michael Farley and Thomas & Sabrina Hartnett all of Lake Shawnee, and Christopher & Terry Hartnett of Chester, NJ, as well as 15 Grandchildren and one Great Granddaughter and her sister Colleen O’Donnell of Cranford, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday Apr. 22, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, Friends and family are visiting together from 2:00 PM until time of services.
