Dear Lou, it has been a couple of years since we have seen each other,I still admire your hard work ethic combine with fun, always laughing. I was working with my Mom, Elaine at The old "Moore's landing," Mom & Dad,Kris,& myself, thought so much of you, actually everyone did! But Susan, I am not sure if you remember when you first met Lou two would talk and joke around (alot, but seriously! I believe you were taking a class & Lou was on his coffee break. (I just had a feeling) I will miss him very much.Much courage & love to you and daughters and grandchildren.

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

Dear Susan, I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Lou. Yesterday, I received a package from my sister Darlene that included an ancient coffee mug that said, "Moore's Landing". I can honestly say receiving the mug reminded me of the special time in my family history where we met so many amazing people. I have the fondest memories of laughing with Lou - enjoying his humor, admiring his professionalism and great pursuit of helping others. My parents thought very highly of Lou and on behalf of the Moore Clan - we wish you our deepest sympathy. He is truly one of the pillars of Denville and I know he will be missed greatly by many. With love, Kris

Dear Susan and Family,
We will always remember Lou as the consummate Rotarian, living its motto of "Service Above Self" on a daily basis. Lou's architectural expertise made the bandstand project possible, and his exceptional organizsational skills proved to be an asset for the success of the Festival's Sponsorship Program. We are deeply sorry for your loss and wish we could attend the Saturday memorial but, unfortunately, we have a family commitment.
