Gregory Michael Spina, Sr, age 83, of Oak Ridge, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Born September 29, 1928 in Hoboken, NJ, he served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Gregory was a member of the Bayonne Knights of Columbus.
Gregory was preceded in death by his sister, Nina Millizzo.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gertrude (Porcelli) Spina; son, Gregory M. Spina Jr. (wife Dawn), of Dover; daughter, Michelle Spina-White (husband Frank White), of Oak Ridge; and granddaughter, Jessica Spina.
Services will be held at 9:00 pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 9:00 pm at Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until the time of service. Please light a candle in Gregory's memory at www.normandean.com.
