Arthur J. Elias passed away on March 3, 2012 at Franciscan Oaks Health Care Center in Denville, NJ.
He was 93 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he had lived in Ramsey for many years before moving to Denville, NJ 6 years ago.
Arthur was Vice President at Charter Oil Company in Jacksonville, FL until he retired in 1980.
He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Hanora P. Elias in 2006. He was also predeceased by his siblings Florence, Bob, Frank, Vincent, Jeanne and Mary.
Arthur is survived by his wife Vivienne Lang Elias of Denville, NJ and his children Arthur J. and Claudia Elias of Denville, NJ, Patricia and Richard Shollar of New Fairfield, CT and Robert and Marie Elias of Brecksville, OH. He is also survived by his grandchildren Meghan, Alexandra, Emily, Ryan, Rachel, Jeanne, Joseph, Nicholas, Emma and Madeline.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 at 9AM and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8PM.
