Ronald H. Emmons of North Caldwell and Long Beach Island NJ peacefully passed on surrounded by his loving family on February 4, 2012.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on October 3, 1931 son of Gladys and Howard Emmons. He enjoyed fishing, boating, tennis, dancing and golf. Loved dinner with the family and a good Giants game! He graduated in 1953 at the top of his class from Bucknell University earning his degree in Chemical Engineering.
He is survived by, his wife of 25 years, Carol C. Emmons (Vuoncino) and children: Allen L. Emmons, Bernardine, James H. and Denise Emmons, Dianne and Michael Zanowicz and his treasured grandchildren: Michelle and Gerard Sawicki, Ryan Emmons, Nicole Emmons, Alexandra Zanowicz, Nicholas Zanowicz. Great-grandaughter Roxanne and soon to bless us, Abigail Sawicki.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cecilia's Church in Rockaway on Saturday 2/25/12 at 11:30.
