Obituary of Doris Edna Cytowic

Doris Edna Cytowic (Thwaites) passed away peacefully at her home in Rockaway Twp. on February 7, 2012.
She was 87 years old.
Born in London, England she moved to the United States after the war in 1946 and lived in IL, FL, but spent most of her life in Rockaway, NJ.
Doris worked as a nurse and office manager for Dr. Robert Gorzelnik for many years, then for Denville Associates retiring in 1975.
She was a member and past President of several chapters of the Cosmopolitan Association for over 60 years, as well as a member of the Red Hat Society and the Fox Hills Bible study group. During WWII, she worked at a First Aide station and also volunteered to help Jewish refugees get settled as they arrived in London.
Doris was predeceased by her husbands William B. Croxville in 1971, Leroy Bachman in 1983, and Edmund Cytowic in 1992, as well as her 8 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Buchanan of Lake Hopatcong, NJ and Barbara Rubin and husband Ronald of Boca Raton, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christine & Brad Cobaugh, Carolyn & Ramon Borges, Colin Abbott & Rayna Regenthal, Brandon Rubin and Nichole Rubin as well as her great grandchildren Adam Erny, Amanda Erny, Bryan Cobaugh and Anthony Rubin.
Friends and relatives will be received on Sunday February 12, 2012 from 2:00 - 4:30PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 4:30PM.
