Yole R. Caivano, 94, died on Thursday Jan. 12, 2012 at Franciscan Oaks Health Center in Denville, NJ.
She was born Dec. 16, 1917, in New York City and she graduated from Bay Ridge High School in Brooklyn later she lived in the Greenwich Village until 1995 when she moved to Franciscan Oaks Residential Community in Denville, NJ.
Yole majored in History at Hunter College in New York where she earned a B. A. degree in 1940. She worked as a C.P.A. with DeLoitte & Touche Accounting Firm in New York City for thirty six years retiring in 1986.
Yole was interested in Astronomy, music, and the Metropolitan Opera, and she loved to dance. She loved to travel and in 1973 she took a cruise to witness the eclipse of the sun, along with several astronauts, and was berthed next to Neil Armstrong's family.
She is survived by many cousins and friends.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday January 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Chapel at St. Francis Residential Community 122 Diamond Spring Road Denville, NJ 07834.
