I am so sorry to hear the news about Mr. Mendelsohn. Our families have Irvington in common. After my mom Elaine Moore passed away in 2010, I had a very nice conversation with John as he reminisced about the Irvington days and it turns out my grandfather Emil Koch took him under his wing as a young man doing public service for the town.
