KB and I served on the LSHA Board together. She and I would roll our eyes at each other when the "boys" got into it at a meeting. Then we would giggle like silly girls. They would not let us sit next to each other because we would cause trobule. Bill and I looked forward to seeing KB, Rick, Odie, and Mollie round the corner of the lake in their boat. We would hang out on the dock and catch up with the happenings in our lives while the dogs ran around the yard. Kathy could keep us laughing. Her absence will be felt by all who knew her. Our deepest sympathy to Rick and her family. With time, may good memories replace the grief you feel now. She lives on our hearts and thoughts.

We'll always remember Kathy working diligently on the Swannanoa Lake Homeowner's Ass'n. Board, also working side by side with her on beach clean-up days. She made the hard work fun. We're happy we saw her enjoy herself last summer a few times at the beach. She was quite a gal! Our hearts go out to Rich and her family.

Especially when you would bring Odie to work (you know what I am referring to)!! I will never forget our martini rendezvous' at Orleans Steakhouse.... especially at Mardi Gras!!! Thanks for all the laughs and help with Quickbooks!!! I will miss you terribly. I pray for Rick but I know you would want him to be strong. I love you KB!!!! See you!

I remember hanging out on the boat with KB and a bunch of my friends from work, Somehow our bosses name came up and KB just about fell out of her chair. It would seem that she had been in a car accident with them (not her fault)and they were suing her! Well KB was describing the situation and she says "This woman who looked like Hedda Nussbaum starts coming toward me screaming". We all cracked up picturing the seen with KB and our bosses wife (accurate description)! I sure will miss seeing you at all the FGH shows. I'll see you again one day. We'll meet at the Second Red Barn on the Right. Miss you!

Kathy & I met as children, bonded instantly and never lost that bond. We had SO many laughs, but shared many tears, hopes, failures and triumphs together. She was and will always be a great treasure in my life. She was gorgeous inside and out. Strong, smart, funny, positive and faithful. My life is blessed for having her in it and I will keep her in my heart always. Love you Kath.

I have a wonderful memory of Kathy, one of the first times I hung out with KB, it was me, Les, RB, KB, and Ronnie at Les's house late one night we decided to have a make shift jam session which on it's own doesn't seem that amazing except for the fact that only one of us (Ronnie) really played an instrument. I was nervous about trying to create music and KB said who cares come on go ahead beat that drum and I beat the hell out of it... Another thing is she would always dance with me if if no one else was dancing...often it was her encouragement that got everyone up and moving. RB my friend I do not worry about her I know she will be fine wherever she is (as Lauren Mills said to me today) but what a loss that is left behind in her place. Love you both so much.
