I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I have such fond memories of your family and your mother, always feeling so welcomed into your home. Barbara took very good care of Charlie when he was ill with Lou Gehrig's disease. She doted upon him while he was ill. They truly were a loving couple. My condolences to the Burrows family. This is a tremendous loss for you. May Barbara rest in peace in our Lord's arms.

Dear Christine, Colleen, Charlie, and families...
I am still stunned by Christine's phone call earlier. Surely there is another angel in heaven because your mom was truly an angel here on earth. Both of your parents were so kind to me when my dad passed 30 years ago...they made sure that I was always included in Burrows family adventures and for that I am eternally grateful. I know your mom and dad are together in heaven and are your guardian angels forever. You certainly were blessed with the best parents...thanks for sharing them with me.
I always remember being in the car with your mom when she picked us up from some event at this time of year. She had been grocery shopping and when she went to checkout realized that her wallet had been stolen. She had in it more money than usual because of holiday shopping. She said "I hope that whoever took it needed it and puts it to good use." I have never forgotten that or many of the lessons I learned by spending so much time with the Burrows family growing up. I am sad for the loss of your mom for all of you. I know that you have a strong faith and take some comfort in knowing that such a loving couple is again reunited in heaven. Their spirit, wisdom, and love will surely live on in each of you!
