William R. Krauss, 89, passed away at Saint Clare’s Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Bill was born in Newark, was a resident of East Orange and a graduate of East Orange High School and received his Bachelor Degree in Business at Seton Hall University, and was resident of Denville for the last 52 years.
Bill was a WW II Army Air Corp veteran. He was a Personnel Manager for RCA and retired many years ago. He was a member of the Denville Senior Citizens, the Denville Historical Society, and the national American Legion. Bill was an avid NY Yankee and NY Giants fan and enjoyed many cruises.
Bill is survived by his wife of 51 years Laura Jane (nee Young) Krauss, his sons, Jeffrey at home, Peter Krauss and his fiancé Ellen Marie Kole of Rockaway, and Eric Krauss of Phoenix, AZ, his 2 grandchildren, Hannah and Connor, and his Daughter in Law, Melanee Krauss.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday Oct 14th from 2-4 an7-8pm with an 8pm service at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Bill on website). In lieu of flowers donations to the Denville Fire Dept. Assoc., 2 Indian Rd., Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
