Leo P. Scalley, 73, passed away on Monday September 19, 2011 at the New Jersey Veterans Home in Paramus, NJ.
Leo was born in Morristown and was a longtime resident of Denville. He served during peacetime in the Navy. He was a Construction Engineer for Local 825 I Springfield, NJ.
Leo is survived by his wife Barbara (nee Stroyny) Scalley, his son, Michael Scalley and his wife Janine, his daughter, Kathleen Beltran and her husband Matt, his stepson, Bill Hansen and his wife Annette, his stepdaughter, Debbie Gilliland, his 8 grandchildren, Liana, Noel, Michael, Megan, Kevin, Melissa, Wily, and Emily, and 2 great grandchildren, Anthony and Isabel, and his brother Joseph Scalley.
Funeral services were private and under direction of Norman Dean Home for Services, Denville, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 400 Morris Ave., Denville, NJ 07834.
