TIMOTHY PATRICK ABLINE, 46 Timothy P. Abline, 46, passed away at his home in Mt. Arlington on Sunday, September 11th, 2011.
Tim was born in Passaic, NJ and moved to Denville in 1973. He was employed by the County of Morris for the past 26 years. Tim started his career in the Morris County Sheriff’s Office as a Senior Communications Operator, studied criminology at Fairleigh Dickinson University and graduated from the Passaic County Police Training Academy in 1998. Tim was then employed by the Morris County Park Police, attaining the rank of Detective Sgt. During his career with the Park Police Tim received numerous service awards and citations, including graduating from the West Point Command & Leadership Program.
Tim was predeceased by his father, James C. Abline, Sr., and his father-in-law Jose Alicea, and is survived by his loving wife Lisa (nee Alicea), his sons Christopher and Sean, daughter Caitlyn, mother Diane, sister Penny Manser and her husband Steve, brother Jim and his wife Melody, his nieces Jamie and Cherie, his mother-in-law Jean Alicea, and his brother-in-law Scott and his wife Jayne.
Tim’s funeral will be conducted from the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville (www.normandean.com)( please light a candle in memory of Tim on website), on Friday, Sept 16th at 11 am, followed by a repast at the Morris County Frelinghuysen Arboretum, 53 East Hanover Avenue, Morristown.
Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday, September 15th at the funeral home, from 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Abline Children’s Education Fund, in care of Penny Manser, 23 Burnham Road, Morris Plains, NJ 07950.
