Robert R. Milliron passed away at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ on September 8, 2011.
He was 79 years old.
Born in Westchester, Pennsylvania he had moved to Denville, NJ in 1966.
Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and then worked as an electronics engineer at Royal Communications in Wharton, NJ for many years. He had also served on the office of emergency management in Denville for many years. He was active in amateur radio. His call letters were K2TYV.
He was predeceased by his wife Gloria (Casey) Milliron in 2004.
Robert is survived by his loving children, Robin Steck of Saluda, VA, Linda Sens of Rockaway, NJ, and Robert Milliron of Boonton Twp., NJ. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jennifer Allen, Donald Allen, Robert Sens, and Emma Holmes, as well as his three Great Grandchildren Michael, Alyssa and Brianna, and his siblings Richard Milliron of NC, Donald Milliron of Mine Hill, and Helen Milliron of Dover, NJ.
A memorial visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Monday September 19, 2011 from 11:00 - 12:30PM followed by an interment service at Locust Hill Cemetery in Dover, NJ at 1:00PM. Please light a candle in his memory at: www.normandean.com.
