Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother
Teresa Garcia, 92, passed away on Wednesday June 29, 2011 at the Center for Hope at Scotch Plains, NJ.
Mrs. Garcia was born in Alicante, Spain and came to the United States in 1928. She was a resident of the Ironbound section of Newark before moving to Pompton Plains in 2005.
Mrs. Garcia worked at Western Electric Co. in Kearny, NJ for 20 years retiring in 1976.
She was predeceased by her husband Louis Garcia.
She is survived by her daughter’s, Gloria Cotroneo and her husband Anthony of Denville,NJ and Louise Attkiss and her husband Michael of Roslyn, LI,NY, and her grandson Anthony Cotroneo and his wife Allison, and her great grandchildren, Andrew and Charlotte.
Teresa’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Teresa on web site), on Saturday July 2nd at 9am for a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary’s Church Denville, NJ entombment committal service at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum North Arlington, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Friday July 1st at the funeral home from 3-6 PM.
