Kim & family,
I loved Tony. My family and I were long time patrons of the Harlequin Cafe. Tony was the absolute best. He always talked about his beautiful wife Kim, his brother Marco and his dog Gucci. We loved the Harlequin Cafe and we loved schmoozing with Tony and the bartender John. Those were the days!! I wish I had a magic wand. I am so deeply sorry . Life passes us by in the blink of an eye. Again, so very very sorry.

I knew Tony closely for our college years, and saw him last at the Harlequin Restaurant in the 90's. He was so full of life. Wonderful to be around. I knew him when my mother died in 1970, and was very comforted by many Sunday dinners at the DeFilippis home in North Plainfield.
I learned of his death through Facebook; I had seen Christiane DeFilippis's name and thought she might be married to cousin Ezio. Eventually she contacted me.
I am so sorry to learn of this so long after his passing. I wish the best for his wife, who knows there is no one like him.
