Betty V. Di Clementi, 89, of Port Charlotte FL passed away at her home on December 10, 2010.
Betty was born November 24 1921, in Jersey City NJ and grew up in Denville, later moving to Rockaway and finally to Port Charlotte, FL.
Betty was a dancer and taught at her dance studio, The Betty Clements Dance Studio and local schools in Rockaway/ Denville NJ
Besides dancing she was a passionate photographer and an ardent golfer. She loved to travel and take pictures of everything she found exhilarating.
She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved.
She was predeceased by her husband Pompi who died on December 10, 1990, and her son David who died on February 13, 1997.
Betty is survived by her son Michael and his wife Joyce of Port Charlotte, FL., her grandchildren: Michael J of Rockaway NJ, James and his wife Kelly of Easton PA., Jill and her husband Dan Mrozinski of Wilmington DE., Michelle L. and her daughter in-law Lynette (David's wife) both of Olympia WA., and her great-granddaughter Addison Mrozinski of Wilmington DE. as well as her sister Dorothy Flynn of Denville NJ.
Betty's family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Friday June 3, 2011 from 4:00pm -6:30 pm at the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville NJ, www.normandean.com.
On Saturday June 4 at 10:30 AM a burial of Betty's ashes will be conducted at St Cecelia's Cemetery in Rockaway.
