Sara Anne Mueller (Schek) passed away at Morristown Memorial Hospital on April 24, 2011.
She was 79 years old.
Born in Nyack, NY she had lived in North Tonawanda, NY before moving to Rockaway Twp., NJ in 1972.
Sara achieved her B.S. in Home Economics from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY in 1953. She had worked as a Librarian in Rockaway Twp., NJ before retiring in 2005. Sara volunteered at the Rockland County Historical Society in Rockland, NY and at the Historical Society in Rockaway Twp., NJ. She held offices and served on committees at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockaway Twp.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, Walter O. Mueller of Rockaway Twp., NJ and her loving children Diane & Joseph Vendola of Sparta, NJ, Tina & Terrence Sheehan of Ijamsville, MD, William & Sue Mueller of Earlysville, VA and David & Janaina Mueller of Sparta, NJ, and her 10 Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 28, 2011 at 10AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. Friends may visit on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
