Obituary of Margaret J. Lash

Margaret Lash, 93, beloved mother and grandmother known for her contagious smile and love for her family and friends, went to sleep with Jesus on September 2, 2012 at Compassionate Care in Dover after a short but solemn illness.
Born in Ashley, PA in 1918, she moved to Montville at an early age where she lived until moving to Denville in 1950.
Aside for being employed at Corona Plastics in Denville for 17 years and ultimately retiring in 1985, she had an overwhelming passion to better serve her community. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Denville where she also was a member of the Rosary Society and volunteered countless hours working Bingo for 37 years, Church choir and was always seen selling Carless-Car-Raffle tickets at the St. Mary's Church Booth. She also volunteered for St. Clare's Hospital for many years and was a member of Denville Senior Citizens and Boonton Catholic Sokols.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband Howard in 1994, cherished grandson Douglas in 1990 and recently suffered the loss of her beloved and youngest son Ralph in July 2012. She is survived by her daughter Joyce Biondi and husband Rich of Denville, her son Howard Lash and wife Fern of Cedar Grove, her sister Irene Crisafulli of Parsippany, grandchildren: Richard, John, Jason, Robin, Christina and her husband Alden Lain. She also has 4 loving great-grandchildren Klarity, Journey, Kierstyn and Rieley; along with many nieces, nephews and devoted friends.
Margaret will continue to be loved in our hearts and forever missed.
Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Saturday September 8, 2012 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Mary's Church in Denville for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Denville Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
