Catherine (Frech) McCoy passed away in Denville, NJ on December 11, 2010.
She was born and raised in Morristown, NJ; married Frank Frech (now deceased) and moved to Madison/Chatham to raise a family. In 1985 she married Robert McCoy and lived in Whippany before moving to Franciscan Oaks in Denville in 1995.
She was an active volunteer at Hope House in Dover working in the "Buddy System" for aids patients and volunteered as a dispatcher and driver for Dial a Ride in Hanover Twp. and Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include her husband, Robert McCoy; four children, Joan Wainman, Largo, FL; Janice Hawkes, Dunedin, FL; Suzanne Gutmann, Dunedin, FL; Robert Frech, Morristown, NJ; Ten Grandchildren; and 15 Great Grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday December 16, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834. Funeral services will held at St. Catherine of Siena Church on Pocono Rd. in Mt. Lakes, NJ at 10AM on Friday December 17. Interment services will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery on Whippany Rd. in Morristown, NJ.
