Obituary of Carlo DeFranco

Carlo DeFranco passed away at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ on August 14, 2013,
at the age of 88.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY he had lived in Denville, NJ since 1963.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII, and achieved his Bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University.
Carlo worked as a mechanical engineer at Picatinny Arsenal for 60 years before retiring in 2011.
He was predeceased by his wife Theodora in 2000.
Carlo is survived by his sons Anthony & his wife Colleen DeFranco, Matthew DeFranco both of Rockaway, NJ and Patrick DeFranco of Fairport, NY. He is also survived by his Grandson Kyle DeFranco of Rockaway, NJ.
Visitation will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Friday August 16, 2013 from 4-8PM. Services will begin at the funeral home on Saturday August 17, at 9AM and then going to St. Mary’s Church for a Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at 10AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
