Tillie Amalia Christoffersen passed away in Sarasota, FL on October 24, 2010.
She was 94 years old.
Born in Lista, Norway she had lived in the Lake Telemark section of Rockaway Twp., N J until her retirement when she moved to Southampton, L.I. NY and has been a snow bird to Sarasota, FL at Stickney Point Mobile Home Park for 25 years.
Tillie worked as a Lab Assistant at Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Company in Morris Plains, NJ until she retired.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Telemark, NJ and the Sons of Norway in Riverhead, L.I., NY.
Tillie was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Christian A. Christoffersen, and her son Russell Christoffersen.
She is survived by her son Christian A. (Margaret) Christoffersen of Newton, NJ, and her daughter Ellen Andersen of Nokomis, FL. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Karen (Steven) Viola, and David Andersen, her Great Grandchildren Alison & Kyle Viola, her Sister in-law Carolyn Christoffersen of Sarasota, FL, her Brother in-law John Johnson of NJ and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services by Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 will be held on Saturday October 30, 2010 at 11AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockaway Twp., NJ.
