Obituary of Ralph W. Finson

Ralph W. Finson, age 81, of Denville, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at his residence. Born June 16, 1929, in Yonkers, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Rose (Schiller) Finson. Ralph served his country in the US Army during the Korean War, serving in the South Pacific. He was employed for many years as a Staff Manager for Prudential Insurance. Ralph enjoyed hunting, and fishing and was an avid golfer and a former member of the Peace Pipe Country Club for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bruce Finson, and son-in-law, Dennis Benson. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothea (Weatherbee) Finson, of Denville; son Scott Finson, of Sparks, MD; daughter Beth Benson of Andover; grandsons, Clinton and Cole Benson; and nieces Naomi and Rachel Finson.
Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, October 26 at 3:30 pm at Norman Dean home for Services, 16 Righter Ave, Denville. Friends and relatives may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.
