Obituary of David Edward Hall

David E. Hall, 74, died on Monday Sept. 27, 2010 at his home in the Cranberry Lake section of Byram Twp., NJ.
He was born and raised in Staten Island and moved to the Cranberry Lake section of Byram Twp. NJ in 1973.
He graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City in 1968. He retired as a police Detective with the 120 Precinct of the New York Police Dept. in Staten Island, NY after 25 years with the department.
He then went to work in security for Supermarket Services in Linden and later for Wyeth Corp. in Princeton, NJ retiring in 1999.
His Grandson Seth D. Hall and granddaughter Faith L. OBrien died previously.
He is survived by his wife Joan M. nee Kinsley with whom he was married to for 51 years. His nine children Diane and Phil Lorello of Landisville, PA, David Hall and Lisa Wood of Pittstown, NJ, Margaret & Karl Fleck of Fredon, NJ, Judith & John OBrien of Mt. Bethel, PA, John & Dana Hall, Mark Hall & Charity Bonney, Mary & Richard Dean, Gerard Hall & Deborah Occhipinti all of Byram, and Lt. Col. Joseph and Tammy Hall of Warrensburg, MO.
He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and two sisters Janis Forsyth of Staten Island and Noel Panico of Massapequa, L.I., NY.
Funeral from the Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com on Sat. Oct. 2, 2010 at 9:30 AM for a 11:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass at St. Michael's R. C. Church in Netcong at 11:00 AM.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Please light a candle on our web site in memory of Mr. Hall.
