Today I received the sad news that I lost a very dear friend. I cannot seem to put into words the sadness I feel in my heart. Laura was always the sunshine on a dismal day and a smile that was contagious and uplifting no matter what the circumstances of ones life. I will especially never forget how she supported my son through a difficult time in his life.

I will remember all fun times we shared and how you were such a great friend to me while we were growing up. I will never forget your love for an ice cold glass of milk (with ice always) or how you would pick through the bag of "Chips Ahoy" to get the cookies with the most chips. I'll never forget your infectious laugh, or the time we rescued Gidget on Mt.Pleasant Ave. We chased that little dog for miles. But it was worth it because she had a great life with you till the day she died in your arms. I will miss the Laura that I remember very much. I love you Laura- Kellie

I lived in Morris Plains, NJ just a stones throw from the Denville city line for 8 years. Though I did not ever know Laura, I was to meet her sister Carreen a few years later at our mutual place of employment in Scottsdale, AZ.
I have developed such a fondness for Carreen and her many interesting and heart felt stories about her unique family,including Laura.
Thank you for this space to enable me to express my thoughts and to send light, love and healing to Laura's family.
