Obituary of William E Deegan

William E. Deegan, 87, died on Tuesday August 17, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
He was born in New York City to William and Dorothy Deegan. He grew up in Queens, New York before moving to the Rainbow Lakes Section of Parsippany in 1969.
Bill had served in the U. S. Navy during WWII as a motor machinist mate
After the war he had worked as a purchasing agent for various companies in the steel industry and retired many years ago.
Bill had been an active member of the Rainbow Lakes Community Club as well as the Denville V. F. W. Post 2519 and the Rainbow Lakes American Legion Post 2011.
He is predeceased by his wife Clare in 1994.
He is survived by his sons and their wives Patrick and Margaret Deegan of Greenlawn, NY, and Peter and Carol Deegan of Rainbow Lakes, NJ. His grandchildren Patrick Deegan Jr., Laura Lewis, Kevin Deegan, and Jacob Deegan, as well as his great grandchildren Emily Lewis, and Jared Deegan.
