Dorothy M Mitchell Oliver, 95, formerly of Wendel, PA died July 28, 2010, at the Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights, NJ.
She was born in Bridgeport, OH April 29, 1915, and graduated from Martins Ferry High School, Martins Ferry, OH in 1933. She was the daughter of the late John C and Katie B (Woods) Mitchell.
Lloyd E Oliver, her husband, died in 1974. Also preceding her in death were a son-in-law Howard W Albright, a grandson Mark A Albright, two brothers John C Mitchell, Jr and James O Mitchell, as well as a sister Anna K Houston.
Surviving are three daughters, Joan B (Robert) Wultsch of Arona, PA, Barbara J (Howard) Albright of Silver Spring, MD, Bonnie J (William) Shaw of Marysville, OH; two sons, Bruce M (Mary) Oliver of Madison, NJ, Larry E (Pia) Oliver of Washington, PA; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the Arona United Methodist Church, Arona, PA.
After a short service at the Heslop Funeral Home, Martins Ferry, OH, Dorothy will be interned at the Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements by the Norman Dean Funeral Home, Denville, NJ, www.normandean.com. Please light a candle on our web site in her memory.
