Robin, you will be remembered very fondly. Although we have not seen much of you since you've lived in Denville, our memories are from your childhood days when you & Suzanne babysat Lori & Gina and were good friends in the neighborhood. You fought a courageous fight and now may you rest in peace. God has a special place for you in heaven. Our sincere sympathies go out to all of your family. Arleane, Frank, Lori & Gina

Robin was an angel in my life. She so beautifully and graciously stepped forward to continue our collective Birthday Book Club efforts for years...many hours spent together sitting on the sofa preparing books, shopping at Barnes & Noble, perusing potential contibutions... Her passion and dedication were true reflections of her love for the children. I will miss her grace, her laughter, her sense of humor, her beautiful smile.

I never met Robin, but she was a special source of happiness to my parents. When my dad, Bill Marrinan died, Robin was there for my mom, giving her strength and support. I think, from what I have heard, that Robin was love. Love never dies as long as you keep it in your heart and as long as you pass it on. Live on, Robin!

Robin was fun and funny, and kind and caring. I always liked spending time with her and hearing what she had to say. She laughed easily, listened attentively, and was a good companion on trips to the outlets and the wolf preserve ... and even the Bronx Zoo. And she took good care of me when I forgot to look at the Friday Folder. I miss her.

I feel privileged to say that Robin Schabaker was my friend. When I started working with Robin, she became my lifeline. She was not my boss, but sometimes she acted like it and secretly I wished she was. No matter how busy she was or what was going on, I could always depend on her compassionate ear, her friendly helping hand and a her passionate heart. She was one of the warmest, friendliest, and nicest people I have ever met and she will always remain a beacon bright light.
