I remember spending time with Josephine, Maria & Jimmy years ago. Jimmy would always want to show me something or give me hugs. His mom would always say "Leave Lorraine alone" but I really didn't mind. I wish I had seen him grow into a young man. I should have stopped by one of those hundreds of times I've driven on Fleetwood over the past years. My heart goes out to the Marinos and Jimmy's loved ones. A special person has been taken from them too soon.

Dear Jim, Josephine and Maria, Words cannot express my deepest sympathy and pain I feel for you.Although I never met Jimmy I felt like I knew him through you,Jim and my brother,Ed.Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. think of how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. Think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched.Nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much. Please know I would have been there for you if I could have been and know how much you are in my thoughts. With my love and deepest condolences, Alyce-Jean

Dear Marino Family,
I work at ECLC and although I never worked directly with Jimmy, I did have the pleasure of getting to know him day by day while passing him in the hall.
Jimmy was always respectful and responsible when it came to his younger schoolmates. I know he had come a long way for the better here at ECLC.
He was a lovely young man who I will not soon forget. May God bless you and your entire family.
Love,

Jimmy had touched our lives over the years. Separated by a few houses, he would occasionally visit our backyard, give me a big wave, watch me mow, stay a while, then say goodbye. For however little our contacts were throughout the years, he had an impact on our lives. May God cradle him.

Dear Jim, Jo and Maria,
As a teacher you always hope you can reach your class. You hope that you can instill some sort of wisdom or knowledge. But my little "Chilie" taught me so much more than I could ever have taught him. He taught me determination as he tried over and over to copy his name. He taught me bravery as he smiled through recovery of yet another hospital stay. He taught me compassion as he would in his sweet way comfort a classmate who was having a bad day.But mostly Jimmy Marino taught me love. His smile and laughter will forever be burned into my memory and he will never be forgotten. Jimmy I love you a bushel and a peck...Can you feel the love Jim? Now you can feel the love of every angel in Heaven. Save me a place Jimmy we'll have a lot to talk about.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I am so sorry for your lost. The world has lost one of the sweetest, kindest and most loving people. He will be sorely missed. Please let me know if I can do anything.
