Hodges (Nee Pierson), 79, passed away at Care One of Morris at Parsippany on Friday April 9, 2010. Mrs. Hodges was born in Morristown and was a resident at Denville since 1959. She was a 1948 Graduate of Morristown High Scholl and a graduate of Berkeley Secretarial School at East Orange. She was an Executive Secretary at Foster Wheeler Corporation at Livingston and Clinton, NJ for many years retiring in 1995. Mildred was on the Board of Directors at The Cliffs at Eagle Rock, West Orange, NJ, and was the Clerk of the Board of Directors at First Baptist Church of Morristown, NJ Mrs. Hodges was predeceased by her parents Fred and Alice Pierson. She is survived by her husband Robert E. Hodges and her sister Alice Woodcock of Newton. Mildred’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please light a candle in memory of Mildred on web site), on Wednesday April 14th at 9:30am for a 11am service at First Baptist Church of Morristown, 51 Washington Street, Morristown, NJ, committal and interment services at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday April 13th at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the First Baptist Church of Morristown.
