Mary and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Jack. Your wedding was the first I ever attended and was so joyful. I will always remember Jack's smile and laughter and how much fun you had on that slide in your pool. I hope all the good, happy memories are shared today. Wish I could have come.
Love, Patty

When I was a stone I lay asleep for a million years dreaming of trees. And when I was a tree I whispered my name to the birds who sang to me. And when I was a bird I watched the way humans live from my place in the sky. By the time I was human I believed in the glory of change so I wasn't afraid to die.
"PapaJack' was a wonderful human, and he will be missed by all who knew him. Our hearts and love go out to the
whole family.

Cheers to Uncle Jack, for a life well-lived. We can all learn a few lessons from the guy whose only adjective for everything in his life was "Fabulous."

Mr. Duffy was ALWAYS Smiling! That's what I remember the most. He was a wonderfully sincere, gracious, and genuine human being. His dedication to his family and friends was unrelenting. When ever we had a family function, the Duffys were always there, sharing in the moment. A nicer man, you'll never find. Heaven has truely gained an Angel, one that should inspire all of us to lead our lives with similar joy and wonder.

I could empty out a Thesaurus trying to describe Jack Duffy and still it would come up short. In a word, he was 'precious', truly the 'pearl of great price'. He was the most Catholic man I have ever known. He was holy, humble, gentle, very wise, generous, compassionate, loving and giving. All the angels in Heaven danced when he walked through their front door this week. I will miss him terribly. Eternal rest grant to him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. amen.
Mary, Kevin, Kathleen, Moira, Megan and Ellen, you will be in my prayers.

Mr. Duffy/Papa Jack
was a very special person - I was very saddened to hear about his passing. He was someone that really lived every day to the fullest. While I know that words are only a small gesture of support, I want you to know that his spirit touched many people's lives as it has mine. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
May you find comfort and peace during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathy and love to you all,
Michele

Dear Mary, Kevin, my dear friend Kathy, Moira, Megan, Ellen and the entire Duffy crew and family:
Our sincere sympathy on the loss of a true shepherd. Papa Jack was the funniest, kindest, most generous man, a loving father who invited me into your family as Kathy's friend. Your father was always smiling - I can't picture him otherwise. We had a great gift of his presence and love of life in this world. Among his many legends, he always knew the difference between pie and cake, pink and orange and that the Cadillac was the correct car for Kathy. We all love you and will miss you, Jack.
I hope the rock in your heart will be softened over time, with memories of him.

Mr. Duffy was like another father for me growing up. He and his wife Mary were wonderful family friends and looked out for all of us in the Walsh clan. I am very sad to hear that he will no longer be with us. But I know he will be in good hands with my Mom Margie in Heaven. My sympathies go out to all of his family and his many friends. You are in my thoughts and prayers. All my love, Kerry
