Happy Birthday Dad! Been thinking about you all day and reminiscing...mostly laughing, some tears, but all with a happy vibe. You left us the same way you led your life, by making sure each one of us knew that we have a special place in your heart. I know this is dangerous territory, but I'm honored to be a Squire "outlaw"...in-law just doesn't carry the same panache. Thanks for the mememories...and so much more.

My parents gave me the hardest gift to give, a magical life. They were always there for support, encouragement and tons of love. Most importantly they supplied all of you as family and friends by living in Denville and being members of Indian Lake.
To all of you; The Kellys,Allens,Riellys,Scanlons,Fichers,Crothers,Moores,Cross,Flynns, luzzis,Rodgers,Rikers,Graus, Squires and Baggots (one T two g's, the second g is for god) if your family is not listed here, it is not because you were forgotten, my fingers are getting blistered. Which says tons for this town! You are WONDERFUL!
My heart was very heavy and low last Friday night with the passing of my dad. Over the course of the week as family members and friends stepped up to help my heart was lifted. Thanks to you all.
Sometimes people say,"We've lost a family member." My family hasn't. We know right were he is. Love to you all!

My heart sank this morning when I received a note that Mr. Squire had passed away. Flashes of wonderful memories went through my head: seeing him at the beach in Indian Lake with his “five toes in the sand & sun on his back”, all the swimming & diving events. But my favorite memory is I had the pleasure of visiting the Squire house one winter around Christmas time back in late 70’s. His gift to Mrs. Squire that year was a doll house. Not your regular Barbie doll house but the kind you have to build – 3 stories of little wooden pieces. I thought it was the most romantic gift until I was told he had gotten her roller skates the year before. People might say it was his sense of humor but I think it was romantic. To Mrs. Squire, Bob, Bill, Ed, Mary, Barb, Regina & Janine & Families: A big hug goes out to all of you! You are in my thoughts & prayers …

After reading all about Mr. Squire i am truly impressed with what a beautiful person he was. While i never met him personally, Mrs Squire was my 9th grade Science teacher and remains one of my favorites of all time. I am truly sorry for your loss and hope that the beautiful memories of a happy marriage will soon outweigh the feeling of loss. You two obviously had what many would be jealous of these days. God bless you and your family!

Dear Marie and Family,
My sincere condolences to you on Bob's passing. I got to know Bob during our collaboration at American Cyanamid. To be sure, Bob was a knowledgeable patent agent and a very likeable person. In response to that, I can hear him say: "Lies! Lies! All lies!" I will always remember Bob for his optimism and good nature, especially in spite of his wartime experiences. One can't help but return the smile in that great photo of him. I'm glad to have known him and will always remember him.

Dear Uncle Bob,
I remember a time when I was about 7 or 8 years old. My family visited Indian Lake and there was a party in a clubhouse and while there, you encouraged me to dance w/ you. I was so painfully shy as a child and you were so very loving, open, and encouraging.
Indian Lake, you and Aunt Marie and all of my other relatives were favorite people to visit. I had so much fun with all of you!
I also remember you were totally nonplussed when learning that I not only went to a Methodist College, but was raised Dutch Reformed. It was so funny to see your facial expression when you became aware there were 2 Baggot grandchildren that weren't raised Catholic.
Much Love and Peace,
Jetty xoxo

I knew qnd worked with Bob from the early sixties. What a delight and what fun. He had such a great sense of humor which made the efforts to write the patents ( maybe 50!!) together a really pleasant task. Amazingly, I believe they all issued. What a tribute to Bob. He was just a good man, someone I had the privilage to know and work with. My heartfelt condolences to you Marie and your family. Marinus
