Jerry Wayne Kearney passed away at his home in Mount Arlington, NJ on January 26, 2010.
He was 61 years old.
Born in Wilmington, DE, he had spent most of his life in Denville, NJ before moving to Mt. Arlington in 2008.
Jerry served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
He had worked as a manager for Honeywell in Morristown, NJ for 41 years.
Jerry loved to travel and cruise, he was a Boy Scout Master for Troop 390 in Denville for 10 years as well as the business administrator for the Denville Methodist Church for 10 years.
He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Kearney in 1990, and his sister in-law Patricia Kearney in 2009.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Georgia (Miller) Kearney of Mt. Arlington, NJ, and his loving children Jerry (& Nicole) Kearney of Beachwood, NJ, and Christine (& David) Casey and his Grandson Nathan Casey of Otsego, MN. His brother Warren Kearney of Ft. Myers, FL also survives him.
A memorial service under the direction of Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ, will be held on Saturday January 30, at 11AM at the Denville United Methodist Church. Please light a candle in his memory at: www.normandean.com.
