Olive and Harry were our neighbors at Green Pond for over 10 years. Their cat, Josie, would frequently come over to our yard while I was working in the garden and wait for me to pet her. THey had the most beautiful roses and a great summer garden, from which we received many delicious vegetables. I will never forget the time I awoke to find my 2 year old daughter, Heather, not at home. After an hour of frantic searching, as I reached for the phone to call the police, I looked out the kitchen window and here she was having a fine breakfast with Olive and Harry!!! Olive and I have had a continuing correspondence since we moved and I will miss her chatty little notes and updates on the family. My sincerest condolences to all of you on your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Merci and Earl Norwood

Olive was my grandmother's brother's (Harry) wife. I remember her from a childhood visit and again a couple of years ago. Olive was a delightful person and I always enjoyed being with her, even as a child from the one visit.

I have fond memories of both Olive and Harry. They were fun neighbors and always livened up our block parties. Even went square dancing with them. They were like extra grandparents to our daughter Britt when she was battling cancer in 1987. I feel so fortunate to have known them.

My husband, Ken and I have known Harry and Olive for more than 50 years, having met and sung with them in the NJ Chorale. My husband, like Harry, is no longer with us, but I have wonderful memories of the many music venues we pursued together. I have called Skippy Anderson and Julia Allen, and hope to attend on Saturday.
