Paula Marozzi, 84 passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 24th at 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Mountain Lakes. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, June 23rd from 2-7 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville. Born in Jersey City to the late John and Tena Castiglione, Paula was one of two daughters. After High School, she attended Margaret Gibbs Secretarial School. Soon after, she met and then married Alfred Marozzi. The couple would move to Upper Montclair, then Pine Brook ,NJ where she raised her four children. And eventually retired to West Palm Beach, FL. She enjoyed many activities through the years, but her happiest times were always with her family, especially her ten adoring grandchildren and her three great grandchildren at the family shore house.
Predeceased by her sister Marie Giordano; she is survived by her husband Alfred of 62 years; her four loving children John and his wife Marlene, Theresa Pugh, Mary Delarosa and her husband Dr. Robert, Barbara Batesko and her husband Robert; son in law Thomas Pugh; her ten adoring grandchildren Laura Marozzi Penny (Ian), Christopher Marozzi, Melissa Pugh, Robert Pugh, James Pugh (Lena), Sara Delarosa, Dr. Matthew Delarosa, Alix Batesko, Tyler Batesko, & Hunter Batesko; as well as her three great grandchildren Aidan, Gavin & Zoey Penny; and many more loving relatives and friends.
